I created Urban Pantry because too many people treat hot sauce like it’s one-size-fits-all. The truth is, no single hot sauce belongs on everything. Most either overwhelm or feel out of place. I wanted to craft cuisine-appropriate sauces—made to complement, not compete with, the foods they’re paired with.

Growing up in NYC

I was surrounded by authentic street food from every corner of the world. Later, Michelin training and travels across continents reinforced what I already knew: the best flavors are bold and balanced, and to taste the most authentic international cuisines, you eat where the locals eat!
